The window mechanism contains a sensor(5), controller(6), drive pulse signal generator(11,11A,11B), shifting device(3,3a,3b,3c), and filtering device(4). When the data of freshness and condition of interior/exterior air sensed by the sensor(5) meet the standard settings, all the window members(2,2a,...2n) are opened or closed. Afterwards, when the data obtained by the sensor do not meet the standard settings, each window member(2,2a,...2n) is opened or closed on the basis of the open-close position data for the window members(2,2a,...2n). Then each window member(2,2a,...2n) is partially opened/closed and pollutants in the air inflow/outflow are filtered or removed to keep interior air fresh.
