PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an extremely high grade image print by a method wherein the delivery of inks is controlled in timing, during which the thickness of the liquid layer impacted on a material to be printed becomes nearly same by performing printing by delivering a plurality of inks and liquid insolubilizing or aggregating the coloring materials of the inks in a time lag between the inks and the liquid. SOLUTION: The delivering port part of a ink jet print head is formed by arranging respective heads of coloring material fixing liquid S, black ink K, cyan ink C, magenta ink M and yellow ink Y in the order named to the scanning direction of a carriage so as to deliver a plurality of inks and coloring material fixing material in a time lag on material to be printed for performing printing. In this case, the delivery of the inks is controlled in timing, during which the thickness of the coloring material fixing liquid layer impacted on the material to be printed becomes nearly even. The timing of this time is set preferably on the basis of the penetration speed of the coloring material fixing liquid into the material to be printed. The longer the time lag between the delivery of the ink and that of the coloring material fixing liquid becomes, the larger the delivering amount of the ink is set. |
