PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the wire cut at a rotary pulley by providing a servo motor connected to the machining roller so that the wire linear velocity at the rotating pulley and the standard wire linear velocity can be equlized. SOLUTION: Pulleys adapted to guide wire 2 are designated as rotating pulleys 3, 4, 5, 6, and a servo motor 17 is connected rotationally to these pulleys. Wire linear velocity at these rotating pulleys are equalized with the wire standard linear velocity by rotating the servo motot forcedly. So far pulleys 3, 4, 5, 6 are forcedly driven in synchronized condition with the machining roller 11, 12, when the wire 2 reciprocates, the fluctuations of the wire tention can be evaded by rotational friction generated between the wire 2 and the pulleys, and resultantly the wire cut can be prevented. |
