PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out the stabilized static recording in compliance with photo- emission. SOLUTION: In the constitution of an image forming device, an image carrier 2 having a dielectric layer 23 formed on a conductive layer 21 and a photoelectric conversion device 9 forming a photoelectric conversion layer 14 on the conductive layer 12 are so disposed as to form an electric field on the photoelectric conversion layer 14 in the state of forming a potential difference between both conductive layers 12 and 21 and the image exposure is performed, and a latent image is formed on a traveling image carrier 2 by the discharge between the photoelectric conversion device 9 and the image carrier 2. In that case, a float electrode 16 composed of a conductive body and floating electrically is provided on a surface on the opposite side to the surface facing the conductive layer 12 of the photoelectric conversion layer 14, and a discharge terminal section 18 close to the above-mentioned conductive layer 23 is provided on the float electrode 16. |
