The tractor disc brake comprises two circular discs, which are displaceably keyed on a shaft, and movable axially from each other against stationary side walls by means of two coaxial ring-shaped pressure plates. The plates have lengthways recesses with a cross-section reducing in opposed peripheral directions. These recesses accommodate balls centred by a disc, which in turn is centred by projections extending radially inwards from the brake housing. To centre the circular disc, rollers (27, 28) are located on at least two of the projections (22, 23). The rollers extend to the disc circumference slightly radially in relation to the inner edge of the projections.
