摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operation feeling, and prevent generation of hammering noises and intereference noises by providing a characteristic of a bumper spring with non-linearity. SOLUTION: A bumper spring 4 has a double layer structure in which a second cylindrical elastic body 42 made of TPO of high hardness is wound around an outer periphery of a first cylindrical elastic body 41 made of TPO of low hardness. This spring is fitted around a piston rod of a shock absorber, and arranged between a vehicle side member and a shock absorber body. Since the cylindrical elastic bodies 41, 42 of different hardness are superposed, the spring characteristic shows non-linearily. Proper rigidity is kept while initial bearing is softened for improving operation feeling. The cylindrical elastic bodies 41, 42 are concentrically superposed, so that the spring can easily be adjusted.
