PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently ensure the rigidity of the whole heat insulating sash, and provide superior design and appearance. SOLUTION: This heat insulating sash has upper and lower frames, lateral vertical frames, upper and lower rails, and lateral vertical styles which are entirely or partially formed by combination of an aluminum extruded member with a synthetic resin. Of the upper and lower frames, lateral vertical frames 3, 3, upper and lower rails, and lateral vertical styles, each frame excluding an inner meeting style 8 is formed by arranging the aluminum extruded material on the outside and the synthetic resin on the inside, and connecting the aluminum extruded material to the synthetic resin. The inner meeting style 8 is formed of a synthetic resin having a hollow part 8c and a steel member 8b inserted to the hollow part 8c. In all of the upper and lower rails and lateral vertical styles 6, 7, 8, only the synthetic resin is exposed, seen from the interior side, and the aluminum extruded member is shielded. |
