A shoe cleaner has rotating brushes (1) driven by a motor and can be attached to a vacuum cleaner so that they can be cleaned and polished. An arbitrary number of brushes can be used. Each brush is sucked separately. In front of each brush is a guide roller (3) for the shoes. Each brush has a dirt scraper (4). Under the apparatus is an accessory drawer.
