Drive device for door lock

A driving device for a door lock has a motor with a gear wheel operating a lever. After rotating in one direction, the motor is reversed for a very short time. The duration of the reverse rotation is independent of the duration of the main rotation and is either constant or preset. It is dependent on the geometry of the gear wheel. The reversing is immediate and delayed. Between the motor and the gear wheel is an overrunning clutch. The gear wheel is spring-loaded for reset purposes.
