Production of reinforced concrete components for traffic and pedestrian surfaces

Ready-made concrete components are used and openings are provided so that slides and shafts can be employed for the laying of utility and evacuation conduits. The system allows for the raising of individual components for the repair of conduits and their subsequent relaying. The components themselves are principally rectangular, but curved components are also available for use where necessary. the surfaces can be constructed in rows in the manner of bricklaying, formed decoratively, or presented in a fishbone pattern. Where a watercourse has to be crossed the steel concrete component is supported on horizontal steel concrete beams and vertical steel concrete buttresses.
