The skin (16) is in plate form, being secured to the panel (14) by harpoon-type nails (22) driven into bores (36) in the panel. The lugs (30) on the nail shanks are sheared off to allow skin removal. Bores can be provided in the skin for the nails, together with recesses (32) for the nail heads (24), which can be formed by flat plates. Each nail can have two shanks, each with harpoon lugs on a common head. The panel can have a frame (12) enclosing the skin. The latter can be offset from the panel so as to protrude beyond it at one side and preferably two adjacent ones.
