PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Peltier element provided with a radiator capable of securing a cooling function in spite of compactness in place of a heat sink. SOLUTION: A heat radiator 12 consisting of lamination of a sheet 14a consisting of a heat-transmitting material, a sheet 16 consisting of a heat- radiating material and sheet 14b consisting of a heat-transmitting material is mounted on a ceramic plate 10 (heat-radiating side) of a Peltier element 2. In this way, a calorie moved on a heat-radiating side due to a Peltier effect of the Peltier element 2 is converted into an electromagnetic wave by the sheet 16 for being released so as to lower the temperature on the heat-radiating side of the Peltier element. That is to say, since the Perltier element allows cooling of an IC 4 provided with a thin structure called a heat radiator 12, small-sizing of an electronic appliance is not impeded. |
