An auxiliary water-supply system for an internal combustion engine, particular a gasoline engine. The engine is connected with an EGR device for reducing NOx exhaust. The auxiliary water-supply system comprises a water-supply device connected with the EGR device for supplying water to the EGR device. Water supply is controlled by a computer control unit. Water and the waste gas of the gasoline engine are fed into the gasoline engine simultaneously so as to increase the combustion efficiency of the engine, to reduce the density of pollution waste exhausted, and to increase the serviceable life of the gasoline engine. |
