This consists of a method which uses, in a corresponding installation, a solution of sodium hypochlorite in water, containing at least one tank of sodium hypochlorite, a pump which drives or sucks the content of each tank towards the processing or cooling system, and a similar assembly formed by at least one tank of a pH-regulating solution, a pump which drives or sucks towards the drencher or hydrocooler and has an electrical signal for the metering of the supply of solutions to be synchronized with the processing or cooling system.
