Container carrier handle with incorporated information strip

The carrier handle is formed from a band section (1) of a transparent material attached to the body of the container at its opposite ends (2,3). The underside of the band section has an adhesive layer for securing an applied background strip (5). The strip is provided with an information field (6) with offset printed information characters (8-12). The background field for the information characters is printed in a number of colours, with the edges between the different colour layers defining the information characters.
