<p>The present invention is directed to a method of combatting asthma with a composition containing an effective amount of a chimeric TNFα-binding protein which comprises the soluble part of the p55 TNF receptor and all domains except the first domain of the heavy chain constant region of a human IgG1 or IgG3 and to the use of such a chimeric TNFα-binding protein for the preparation of a medicament for the treatment of asthma.</p> |
