The invention relates to stabilisers for plastics which increase their molar weight as a result of a photochemical reaction. Said stabilisers are compounds of the general formula (I), the different substituents having the meaning defined in the description. Said novel stabilisers are particularly suitable to act as light stabilisers for polymers.
