The detector has a pair of filters (2) with predetermined cut off frequency for detecting the pitch of an input electric oscillating signal. The amplitude level of the input electric oscillating signal is detected and the attenuation level is measured. Based on the detected pitch level, the attenuation level of the envelope signal waveform is controlled.
