Extending conveyor extractor for composting plant

A compost (18) extraction system for long rectangular composting bays (1) of a composting plant has a frame (9) with rails on which at least one belt conveyor (10) can move along the composting bay. Multiple belt conveyors (10,11,12,13) are arranged one over the other so that they can be telescopically extended and retracted. Also claimed is a composting plant which uses the above compost extraction system.
