The machine has a motor (1) for the driving wheels (12) and another for the steering ones (11). A positioning system corrects deviations from a predetermined path, so that the removal operation takes place automatically along the path. The positioning mechanism can include a laser scanner, and an electronic compass emitting correction signals to a micro-chip controlling the steering motor. Signals can be emitted by an induction switch sensing the predetermined path.
