PURPOSE:To provide a composition good in the reinforcing property and abra sion resistance and capable of being colored by adding gamma-mercaptopropyl trimethoxysilane, sulfur, a vulcanization accelerator and a water-containing silicic filler to a rubber composition comprising a butadiene rubber and another general rubber. CONSTITUTION:A rubber composition comprising 60-80wt.% of a butadiene rubber and 20-40wt.% of another general rubber (e.g. isoprene rubber) is mixed and kneaded with 1-3pkr of gamma-mercaptopropyltrimethoxysilane, 1-3pkr of bis-3- triethoxysilylpropyltetrasulfide, 1.6-2.0pkr of sulfur, 0.8-3.0pkr of a vulcanization accelerator, and 30-50pkr of a water-containing silicic acid filler to provide the objective abrasion-resistant white rubber composition giving rubber parts having a sufficient reinforcing property and excellent abrasion resistance and colored into the original color tones of the commodities, especially advantageous for commodities to which good abrasion resistance, color tones and designs are required, and useful for golf shoes, etc. |
