PURPOSE:To provide a light-receiving circuit which prevents the occurrence of a bit error even when a reception level is small and improves reception sensitivity. CONSTITUTION:An electric signal supplied from a photo-receptor element 10 is amplified to a specified amplification factor in an amplifier circuit 11. A waveform shaping circuit 12 bypasses a high frequency output waveform component and waveform-shapes it in response to the amplification output of the amplifier circuit. A comparison circuit 13 inputs output which is waveform- shaped in the waveform shaping circuit from first and second input terminals. Adjusting circuits 16 and 17 adjust the output levels of the signals which are waveform-shaped in the waveform shaping circuit from the first and second input terminals of the comparison circuit. |
