A surfing board (10) comprises a streamlined body (11) having a peaked rounded leading edge (14) and, an engine (15) installed in a rest (16) near to a trailing edge of the body (11), wherein the engine (15) comprises propeller (151) for propelling the body (11), controller (153) for controlling starting, stopping and speeding of the engine (15) and, safety cutoff means for stopping the engine (15) in accordance with signals from water-leveling sensors and attitude sensors. The surfing board (10) may further comprise breaker (18) on the underside of the body (11) and, the breaker (18) preferably comprises breaking plate (181) having an end hinged to the underside of the body (11) to swing in the vertical plane perpendicular to the end, locker (183) for locking the breaking plate (181) with inner face touched to the underside of the body (11) and, actuator (184) for operating the locker (183) to lock or unlock the breaking plate (181). And, the breaker (18) may further comprise a plate spring (182) for pushing the breaking plate (181) upon unlocking the locker (183), a string (185) for limiting the maximum angle between the body (11) and the breaking plate pushed by the plate spring (182) and, another string (186) for pulling the breaking plate (181) against a pushing force of the plate spring (182) to bring face to face with the body (11). |
