<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of a Li-Mn ferrite carrier which does not contain harmful elements and can form a high quality image. SOLUTION: After source materials are mixed to obtain a basic composition of 2 to 15mol% Li2 O, 5 to 30mol% MnO and 60 to 90mol% Fe2 O3 , the mixture is calcined, pulverized, granulated and sintered in a N2 gas atmosphere having 0 to 15vol.% O2 concn. Or, after the source materials are mixed to obtain a basic composition of 2 to 15mol% LiO2 , 5 to 30mol% MnO and 60 to 90mol% Fe2 O3 , the mixture is calcined, pulverized, granulated and sintered in air, and then heat treated in a N2 gas atmosphere having 0 to 15vol.% O2 concn.</p> |
