PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve not only adhesive properties between a base polyester film and a laminating film but also adhesive properties with various inks by forming the laminating film contg. a wax compsn. and a polyester resin as its main constituent ingredients on at least one face of the polyester film. SOLUTION: On a laminated polyester film, by incorporating a wax compsn. and a polyester resin as main constituent ingredients contact angle of the surface of a laminating film with water is made to be 70-110 deg. to improve adhesive properties. The laminated polyester film like this is prepd. by forming the laminating film contg. the wax compsn. and the polyester resin as its main constitutional ingredients on at least one face of a polyester film. The laminated polyester film obtd. thereby exhibits excellent adhesive properties with various coatings and inks, especially with a wax type binder used in heat-sensitive transfer application and is suitable for sheets for heat-sensitive recording and image receiving. |
