<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently precisely detect an abnormal condition quickly while setting a dead zone threshold value low even when two steering angle sensors for feedback control of a rear steering angle to a target steering angle are arranged. SOLUTION: Two rear wheel steering angle sensors 38, 39 are arranged coaxially in the position in which a rotation angle of an electric motor 22 in an actuator 1 is detected. A deviationΔδR1 between an actual rear wheel turning angelδR1 detected by means of one rear steering angle sensor 38 and a target steering angle valueδ*R is computed. On the other hand, a deviationΔδR2 between an actual rear wheel turning angleδR2 detected by means of the other rear wheel steering angle sensor 39 and the target steering angle valueδ*R is computed. If either of absolute values of the deviations|ΔδR1|,|ΔδR2|is determined to be the dead zone threshold valueα1 , which is set at the predetermine value, or more, it is determined that an abnormal condition is caused in a feedback control system including the rear wheel steering angle sensors 38, 39 from the actuator 1.</p> |
