PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of stably obtaining a colored layer having an excellent film thickness uniformity without being affected by increasing a substrate unit scale or varying a condition of the electrodeposition liq. in a production of a color filter by the electrodeposition. SOLUTION: The electrodeposition is executed by using the substrate having a conductive layer region in which plural conductive layers insulated each other are provided, a power feeding layer provided so that it circulates around the conductive layer region and a power feeding terminal provided at a prescribed position of the power feeding layer on an one side surface, and providing the power feeding layer so that it selectively contacts with a prescribed both end parts of the conductive layer and does not contact with the other part.
