PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an elevation of a high-pressure-side pressure of a refrigerant cycle, by a method wherein on a condition that a cooling operation and a heating operation are carried out simultaneously, when a pressure switch for reducing a heating overload or a frost-detecting thermostat for heating is actuated, a compressor of an indoor unit which is carrying out a cooling operation is stopped. SOLUTION: In a case that an indoor unit 15 is carrying out a heating operation while an indoor unit 14 is carrying out a cooling operation, when a frosting occurs on an outdoor heat exchanger 5 and a frosting detecting thermostat 11 is actuated so as to stop an operation of an outdoor blower fan 3, a current transformer detects that an operating current for an outdoor blow fan 3 is not fed and transmits a signal to an indoor microcomputer. Then, the microcomputer stops an operation of a compressor 1 and prevents an elevation of a high-pressure-side pressure of a refrigerant cycle on a side of an indoor unit 14 which may be caused by stopping an operation of the outdoor blow fan 3. |
