摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the identification of the types of different textures provided with different reflection coefficients. SOLUTION: Signal processing algorithm is used. The algorithm increases the contrast of images by allocating the different textures to different gray scale levels. The algorithm is based on Hilbert transformation (122) provided with a property that the quadrature component of supplied images is generated and it is modulated by a speckle pattern and all the other image information. Then, after squaring the quadrature component, by selectively adding it to the square of the common-mode component of the supplied images or subtracting it from the square of the common-mode component of the supplied images, information inside the images is controlled. Added or subtrated signals are provided with the different textures. By an arithmetic operation (140) between the common-mode component and a quadrature phase component, the texture of the images is decided. The arithmetic operation is selectively performed and the contrast and texture of the images are controlled.
