PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the quality of character by compensating the continuity of each tangent vector of a connection part for connecting a main body, which forms a stroke, and a stroke end. SOLUTION: Control point of a basic character structural element connecting part is read out. Guide line computing processing is carried out, and line segments A, B, which are formed of a connection part and a control point adjacent to the connection part, are computed on the basis of the control point. Since the local outline data for local outline adjusting processing is given in a relative coordinate, coordinate line is read out from 'O- OUTLINE POINT', and the coordinate is converted so as to obtain the same coordinate line. At the time of processing for moving control point, each intersection at the time when a vertical line is drawn from points a2, a6 in front and rear of the control part of the connection part of the local outline to the line segment A, B is obtained by a mathematical method. Furthermore, the point a2 is replaced with an intersection a2' at the time when a vertical line is drawn from the point a2 to the line segment A, and the point a6 is replaced with an intersection a6' at the time when a vertical line is drawn from the point a6 to the line segment B. |
