A connection structure for a storage battery has a plug extending vertically on a surface of the main body, a bush connector with a hole for the plug and a crimp section for the cable, an annular channel at the top of the plug, a housing serving as a sleeve for the bush, a retaining mechanism for the bush containing the annular channel and a release mechanism located inside a rigid bush of the housing surrounding the other bush. The retaining mechanism has projections which are arranged around the peripheral section of the second bush. The release mechanism has flexible arms, each formed by a pair of slits that are unlatched from the upper end of the second bush.
