Hydraulic telescopic vibration damper

The damper is for a vehicle. A piston fixed to a piston rod, with damping valves for traction and pressure directions of the piston rod, divides the cavity of a cylinder filled with hydraulic fluid into working cavities on the piston rod side and on the other side. The latter cavity can be hydraulically connected to a levelling cavity by a valve device operating during the compression stroke. The levelling cavity is filled with hydraulic fluid and gas. The cylinder has a piston rod guide and seal at its end on the exit side. In the rest position, with the rod out, the pressure in the working cavity and the levelling cavity is over six bars, preferably 20 bars.
