Sheet paper conveyor

The conveyor moves the flow of paper over a bench incorporating one or more endless belts with suction nipples liked to a suction box under the bench. In the direction of sheet travel, the suction box (4) is sub-divided into two sections by a panel (14) with opening and closing apertures (16). The first suction chamber (6) has a suction connection (32). The second chamber (7) which is directed towards the sheet-handling section has ventilation openings (22) which may be opened and closed. The opening-closing position is infinitely variable.
