The sensor consists of a sensor element and an evaluation circuit. The sensor element is a capacitor. The evaluation circuit is a RC-generator (2), to which are connected a rectifier circuit (3) and successively a threshold value circuit (4), which transmits the switching signal for the vehicle parts. The capacitor (1) of the RC-generator is the sensor element. The first electrode (1a) of the capacitor is a circular ring, in which the second electrode (1b) is centrally located, which is circular in shape. The first electrode is connected to the neutral point of the voltage supply.
