PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid turbidity of block serum or the like without depending on addition of surfactant by including lipase in reagent for measuring cholesterol contained in lipide fraction in blood serum or plasma. SOLUTION: Lipase for removing turbiclity of a biological sample is contained in reagent for measuring cholesterol contained in lipide fraction in blood serum or plasma. Liboprotein lipase, triglyceride lipase or the like may be used as the lipase to be used, in which origination of lipase is not specifically limited. For example, pancreas lipase, liver lipase or liboprotein lipase derived from human being, chromobacterium or Pseudomonas may be used. Its added amount is not specifically limited, while it may be appropriately contained in the reagent to obtain an ultimate concentration of 1 to 1000μ/ml, preferably 10 to 100μ/ml.
