PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a dielectric porcelain compsn. having a high relative dielectric constant of >=4,500 at room temp., capable of firing at a low temp. of <1,300 deg.C, having a long service life under high-temp. load and satisfying Y5T characteristics stipulated by EIA standard. SOLUTION: A multiple oxide made of barium calcium titanozirconate represented by the formula (Ba1-x Cax )(Ti1-z Zrx )O3 (where 0.06<=x<=0.10) is prepd. as a principal component and zinc oxide, an Mn compd., a Ti compd., silicon dioxide, yttrium oxide and iron oxide are incorporated into 100 pts.wt. of the principal component by 0.1-0.9 pt.wt. (expressed in terms of ZnO), 0.05-0.3 pt.wt. (expressed in terms of MnO), 0.1-1.1 pts.wt. (expressed in terms of TiO2 ), 0.05-0.20 pt.wt. (expressed in terms of SiO2 ), 0.3-0.9 pt.wt. (expressed in terms of Y2 O3 ) and 0.05-0.2 pt.wt. (expressed in terms of Fe2 O3 ), respectively. |
