<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fit a damping device which meets the natural frequency of fluid piping easily by fitting a weight to an arm protruding from a piping supporting member and matching it with the natural frequency of the piping. SOLUTION: A ceiling-suspending type piping supporting member 11 is constituted of a supporting structure member 11 to be fitted onto a ceiling part, a supporting structure member 13 to be fitted onto piping and a spring member 12 for connecting the supporting structure members 11, 13. On a cylindrical member 2a, one or more arms 2 are protrudingly-provided at right angles to the supporting structure member 13. A weight 3 is fitted onto the front end of the arm 2 so as to go forward and backward. By measuring the natural frequency of the piping 4 and deciding the direction, number, thickness and length of the arm 2, to make the weight go move forward or backward and change the weight of the weight 3, thus it is possible to adjust the amplitude of the piping 4 so as to be minimum.</p> |
