<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system monitoring device for outputting and displaying the system constitution and device conditions of a computer system and messages informed by an operating system(OS) and an application by a graphical user interface(GUI) and facilitating system condition recognition. SOLUTION: Plural host computers 10 and 20 are respectively provided with an information-of-the-day informing means 13 for informing this system monitoring device 30 of job information 121 to be operated on the day, network information 122, device information 123 and the system information 120 of the day of an operation schedule and a message informing means 14 for informing the monitoring device 30 of system messages issued by the OS and the application. The system monitoring device 30 is provided with a message analysis means 33 for analyzing the system messages and editing operation information, a storage means 35 for storing the system messages in a messaqe storage file 32 and a state display means 34 for outputting display information to a display device 31.</p> |
