<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide method and system for maintaining plant instrument control system with which the maintenance data of process equipment can be exactly reported without omission of checks by using a portable maintenance tool. SOLUTION: This maintenance system is provided with a site managing device 1 for managing the maintenance of sites composed of plural plants, plant maintenance managing device 2 arranged for each area of each plant in the low-order of the site managing device 1, and plural terminal equipments from 3-1 to 3-M for each area arranged in the low-order of the plant maintenance managing device 2 and while hierarchically connecting these devices, the maintenance work including the correction and operation checks of process equipment from 5-1 to 5-K in the respective areas is performed by connecting the portable maintenance tool 4 to the process equipment from 5-1 to 5-K. In this case, a communication means 7-2 is provided between the terminal equipment 3-1 and the maintenance tool 4 so as to exchange data each other, and the result of maintenance work is inputted by the maintenance tool 4. This result of maintenance work is transmitted to the plant maintenance managing device 2 after the maintenance work is summed up at the terminal equipment 3-1, and the data base of the whole plants is prepared.</p> |
