PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid the creep phenomenon of a rear bearing, improve the operation life of the rear bearing and suppress noises from the bearing. SOLUTION: A vehicle AC generator has a stator which is fitted and fixed to front and rear brackets 10 and 20 and a rotor which is supported by a front bearing 40 and a rear bearing 50 which are assembled in the front and rear brackets 10 and 20 respectively. A plurality of elastic plates 80 are inserted through a plurality of fit-fixing holes 21 formed in the rear bracket 20 so as to hold the outer circumference part 51 of the rear bearing 50 to avoid a creep phenomenon.
