PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which lets a user know a result before the image of an original document is copied, prevents wastage of transfer paper, and is easy to use. SOLUTION: This image forming device is equipped with a reader 2 for reading the original document G to be copied, an electrostatic-latent-image forming device 5 for forming the image of the read original document G onto an image carrier 1 as an electrostatic latent image, a developing device 6 for forming a toner image by rendering the electrostatic latent image visible by the use of toner, a transfer device 7 for transferring the toner image onto the transfer material P, a fixing device 10 for melting the toner image transferred onto the transfer material P, an operation part which the user operates for actuating each device, and a display device for displaying operation contents. In this case, the image of the original document G read by the reader 2 is shown by the display device. |
