PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a variable wavelength laser irradiator capable of cutting or modifying a live bodies hard organization such as tooth, bone etc., performing an operation of alveoli, or accelerating a thin film formation of various materials with laser beams of quasi-continuous wavelength. SOLUTION: A laser irradiator is provided with a plurality of semiconductor laser elements 2 in a rotation substrate 1, a specific element of the semiconductor elements is structured so as to be stopped at a position of a transmission system 6 arranged at a specific position by rotation of the rotation substrate 1 and selected, so that the laser beams can be irradiated by a laser irradiation part 9. The semiconductor element 2 generates laser beams of wavelengths differed by 0.1μm in the range of 6.0 to 6.4μm or 8.7 to 9.6μm.
