PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing member capable of securing suitable inserting/ drawing force with respect to a cigar lighter socket of various kinds with a single plug and firmly holding the plug, and a highly versatile plug having the fixing member thereon. SOLUTION: A pair of cutouts formed on a thin portion 3c of a fixing member 3 are fitted into inserting portions of a plug body 1 on a flange 3a side in such a manner as to correspond to spring pieces projecting from the plug body 1, respectively. When the plug body 1 having the fixing member 3 is pushed into a cigar lighter socket 2, the thin portion 3c enters a clearance between the inserting portion 1a of the plug body 1 and an inserting port of the socket 2 in a closely contacting manner, so that the plug body 1 is held by required holding force of the socket 2. In the case where the clearance formed between the inserting portion 1a and the insertion port is varied, an outer diameter of the thin portion 3c is gradually increased from the tip thereof toward the flange 3a, thereby fixing the plug body 1 in a closely contacting manner. |
