<p>The invention relates to a device for cutting off worn- down vehicle tyres. The device has a frame at which a series of first bites 2, inwards and outwards swingable, respectively, is attached. The movement of said bites is dimensioned to correspond to the dimensions of the rim opening in a tyre to be cut off in order to having the tyre secured by the bites. Co-operating with said bites 2, formed as counterbites, the device has cutting bites 4 by which the tyre is cut off in pieces controlled by the number of pairs of bites. The device is carried by a suitable lifting crane. <IMAGE></p> |
