APERTURE OPENING/CLOSING MECHANISM OF ON-VEHICLE ELECTRONIC DEVICES

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize space saving to prevent erroneous opening or closing by contact with operator or passenger and improve loading capability by opening or closing an aperture depending on lateral movement of the operation knob. SOLUTION: An opening/closing member 4 opens or closes an aperture 5 depending on lateral movement of an operation knob 1 by an operator. The knob 1 is guided by a lateral guide mechanism 2 which is structured by a rectangular aperture 20. Moreover, the lateral movement of knob 1 is converted to movement in the direction to open or close the aperture 5 by means of the converting mechanism 3. Moreover, an upper and lower moving mechanism 6 moves the opening/closing member 4 in the vertical direction to open or close the aperture 5.
