PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate deviation from presence between video and sound images by detecting a change in a moving amount and / or a turn angle of an entire body or part of the body of a viewer and extracting and displaying part of a video signal of an original video image accordingly. SOLUTION: An A/V system 100 is provided with a video display device 3 having a headset structure to be fixed to a head of a viewer 2 by means of a support 1 such as a head band, provided in front of both eyeballs of the viewer 2 to display and form a prescribed video image on its screen, a stereo headphone 4 having sounders each in contact with left/right ears of the viewer 2 and a gyro sensor 5 sensing a motion of a head of the viewer 2. The video image displayed on the video display device 3 is part of 'entire video area longer in lateral direction' and changes the width of blanking areas 9, 10 at the left and right ends of the screen depending on a moving amount of a turning angle of the head so as to obtain a screen display as if the displayed image were moved in response to the moving amount of the turning angle of the head. |
