Cable-tension and drive device for up-and-over gate of car garage

The device has a drive housing (5) which is coupled along the gate upper edge (3) by hinges (4). A lever arm (11) holds the housing along the pretensioned cable, in a horizontal position. The lever arm consists of a tube of an appropriate length, through which the drive cable (9) passes. The drive pulley (8) has two V-grooves and revolves above the drive housing. The hinge pins are detachable to ease the assembly on the gate upper edge.
