The container housing has at least one first and second container half (12,14), matching when brought together. The at least one limit part (19a, 19b) defines a cell reception region (50,51), if the container halves are assembled together. One cover part (17,18) at least is allocated to at least one container half and relative to the at least one limit part, is positionable in a position covering the connections. So that a connection housing section (55) is determined between the at least one limit part and the at least one cover part (17,18). By positioning of a section of at least one electrolytic cell (30,31) in the cell reception region (50,51) and by the assembly of the container halves. A region of the cells is enclosed within the connection housing section (55). At least one cell connection (34,35) allocated to the electrolytic cells is positioned in the connection housing section (55).
