Reflector for motor vehicle headlamp

The reflector has a central hole(3) through which the lamp fitting is mounted. The area (11) around the mounting hole is shaped to direct light to that part of the lens which would have been covered by the lost section of the reflector. This provides an even appearance beam. The modified reflector area is bounded between two circles (13,14). The smaller circle defines the edge of the mounting hole. The outer part of the modified reflector is shaped into the rest of the reflector.
