Machine cleaning off carbonised deposits from charging shafts of coke ovens quickly and safely
摘要
A machine cleans off graphite accumulations within charging shafts of coke ovens. It operates in conjunction with the lid hoist on the coal charging tripper car, to which it is attached. It carries a driven rotary tool with graphite scrapers and scraping frames, on a carriage running vertically on a guide rail. The tubular cleaning tool carrier (9) carries out a first cleaning stage in the upper filling shaft (3). The carrier also includes a spreading linkage (8) holding a two-part tool cleaning tool carrier (7) used in a second stage of cleaning, lower down (4) in the divergent section of the charging shaft. The spreader (15) has a system of pressure cylinders or weights, to extend the linkage.
